Services and Session Fees

Please note, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 for face-to-face or Telehealth sessions with a Mental Health Care Plan (10 sessions per calendar year), Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (40 sessions per calendar year), or Chronic Disease Management Plan (5 sessions per calendar year) from your GP.

Brief Consultation

$130

Sessions between 20-30 minutes are billed at $130. Brief sessions may be appropriate for initial consultations, maintenance sessions, clients with a busy schedule.

Private Consultation

$220

50 minute sessions are standard for most treatment plans and allow comprehensive exploration, understanding and planning. The AAPI 2024 - 2025 recommended fee for 50 minute psychological services is $315. However, at Birdsong Psychology, our 50 minute sessions are billed at $220. 

Online Therapy

$220

Online sessions are delivered via our secure online platform and allow you to access your appointment from the convenience and comfort of your own space. 

SIRA (Workcover) Psychological Treatment

Fees in accordance with current SIRA Rates

These sessions provide psychological support for individuals recovering from a work-related injury. These sessions are funded under the NSW Workers Compensation scheme and aim to assist with emotional wellbeing, stress management, and return-to-work planning.

Brief Letter

$110

Clients requesting support letters are not eligible for rebates and are required to pay hourly rates for administration time. A brief (25 min) report/ support letter will cost $110.
